Beginner Uke Club

                      August 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th from 10:30-11:30 AM

“Come and Learn to play the Uke! This free event at San Diego Music Studio is for anyone who has ever wanted to learn to play the ukulele. Attend for an hour and see what happens! You never know unless you try!”

San Diego Harmonica Club is a community of people of all ages and skill levels who love the harmonica!

Our monthly club meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Our mission is to bring harmonica players together for skill development, friendship, and FUN – jamming with each other and eventually guitar players and other instruments.

We spend time on harmonica playing techniques, chords, scales, riffs, and songs, as well as learning and playing blues harmonica.

Much of our initial focus is on new player development, so this is the perfect starting point for the interested beginner… Come on out!

There are no dues or fees to join the San Diego Harmonica Club. Membership is free!

Please bring a harmonica in the key of C to each Meetup. Let’s have fun!

Are you ready? Free to participate! Join the club!

We offer open space in our store for our toddlers to explore age-appropriate and authentic instruments in an “open gym” from 10:30-11:30am on Thursday mornings. This is a FREE meetup for parents to socialize while their little ones explore instruments such as maracas, tambourines, sleigh bells, cajon, and other hand percussion instruments as well as special instruments from the store each week.

Every so often we offer specials on getting brass instruments cleaned in our ultrasonic machine. Instruments must be in good order with functioning slides prior to cleaning.

Our studio of students has two recitals each year: an informal coffee house recital in early fall and a formal recital in the spring. Our fall recital takes place locally at Old California CoffeeHouse & Eatery here in San Marcos, CA. Our Spring Recital takes place at the Museum of Music Making in Carlsbad, CA.

Learn about properly caring for your instrument to promote longer pad & cork life! Find tips and tricks to keep your instrument in top condition to prevent misalignment so you can keep playing!

Bring in your baritone, trumpet, trombone, or tuba to learn about proper cleaning and maintenance. Keep your pistons, rotors, valves, and slides in performance condition!

We are excited to announce that studio will be hosting an online showcase
