This is a free gathering of all levels of ukulele players that welcomes beginners. Don’t have a ukulele? You’re welcome to borrow one from our store until you are able to purchase your own. Some members from Ukulele Friends Ohana lead this club every Saturday morning.

San Diego Harmonica Club is a community of people of all ages and skill levels who love the harmonica!

Our monthly club meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Our mission is to bring harmonica players together for skill development, friendship, and FUN – jamming with each other and eventually guitar players and other instruments.

We spend time on harmonica playing techniques, chords, scales, riffs, and songs, as well as learning and playing blues harmonica.

Much of our initial focus is on new player development, so this is the perfect starting point for the interested beginner… Come on out!

There are no dues or fees to join the San Diego Harmonica Club. Membership is free!

Please bring a harmonica in the key of C to each Meetup. Let’s have fun!

We offer open space in our store for our toddlers to explore age-appropriate and authentic instruments in an “open gym”-like setting from 10:30-11:30am on Thursday mornings. This is NOT an instructor-lead class. It is a FREE, come when you can, meetup for parents to socialize while parents can socialize and supervise their little ones exploring instruments such as a maracas, tambourines, sleigh bells, a cajon, and other hand percussion instruments as well as special instruments from the store each week.

Every so often we offer specials on getting brass instruments cleaned in our ultrasonic machine. Instruments must be in good order with functioning slides prior to cleaning.

Our studio of students has two recitals each year: an informal coffee house recital in early fall and a formal recital in the spring. Our fall recital takes place locally at Old California CoffeeHouse & Eatery here in San Marcos, CA. Our Spring Recital takes place at the Museum of Music Making in Carlsbad, CA.
